Rockwood Manor

Photography by Jim schaal

A beautiful outdoor venue not so far from home, just a short 45 minute drive from Roanoke in Dublin. This is where you will find true Southern hospitality: a manor built 130 years ago that has as much charm today as I am sure it did back then. Imagine being able to go back in time when life seemed a little easier, if only for a day, your biggest day! This day will be a day you will remember for the rest of your life!  Spectacular grounds, beautiful home, gorgeous views… this venue is a brides dream.

    Dear Jim,
When I told my mother that I saw you Monday she said “Did you tell him I just love him?”. 🙂

THANK YOU and your colleagues so very much for honoring myself, Rick, our families and guests. The shrimp and grits station was beautiful and delicious, the angel biscuits were true Southern Heaven, and everything down to and including the last morsel of Gouda was tasty and elegant.

More than even your amazing culinary skills, thank you for helping me with all my bridal questions, from meeting me at the B&B, doing the table diagrams to rain planning to helping Angela and Micki arrange the Reese cupcakes… didn’t bat an eye, and you kept me calm. I will forever be appreciative, as will my guests, especially the ones who said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Appreciation and Blessings, and a big hug,
Rick A. & Stephanie Bird Henthorn
